Newdow suit a fraud
It turns out that Michael Newdow’s eight-year-old daughter—on whose behalf he claimed to be acting when he brought his federal suit against the Pledge of Allegiance—has no problem with the Pledge (though why the preferences of eight-year-old child would have any legal standing in a constitutional issue is unclear in any case). Not only that, but the girl’s mother, Sandra Banning, says that both she and her daughter are practicing Christians who are active in their church. Not only that, but Sandra Banning has full custody over her daughter. Not only that, but Newdow never married Sandra Banning. So how did Newdow manage to bring this suit in the first place? Michael Newdow and others have misinterpreted religion as God. Unfortunately, this deception have misled many Americans into thinking religion is synonymous with God. But, God and religion are not the same. Careful study of Bible and America’s foundational documents show religion to be traditional ways people adopt or pass down from generation-to-generation. Most traditions are misinterpreted from Bible scriptures or representative of a deceased leader. The word ‘religion’ is mentioned fives times in the Holy Bible’s New Testament. In three occurrences, the Apostle Paul compares ‘religion’ with ‘traditions’ of men.[Acts 26:5; Galatians 1:13-14] The fourth occurrence refers to individuals who appear religious. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridles (restrains) not his tongue (speech), but deceives his own heart (conscience or mind), this man’s religion is vain.-[James 1:26] The fifth occurrence informs and instructs concerning a God-Inspired ‘Pure Religion’.[James 1:27] ‘Pure religion’ and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world (worldly ways; Satan’s characteristics of control, covetousness, domination, envy, greed, hatred, murder, etc.)-[James 1:26] ‘Pure Religion’, is an obligation or devotion to a duty or service to those in need. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works (actions/deeds). These things are good and profitable unto men.[Titus 3:8] God is not religion. ACTUAL DEFINITION OF RELIGION - Prefix Re-‘again’, Latin Root word ligare-bind or tie, and Suffix ion-act of. Religion is a system of beliefs or methods/procedures instituted and practiced which display devotion to actions, appearances, behaviors, lifestyles, and thinking. Religious beliefs or methods/procedures are considered consciously more important to participants than daily-life activities and God’s Word. Misinterpretation/Misrepresentation - God’s actual commandments and instructions are misinterpreted and misrepresented by religious individuals. Religious beliefs and practices (adopted, cultural, customary, or traditional) are esteemed, honored, and worshipped in place of God. There are many who oppose the characteristics and principles of God that this nation was established upon, and there are many who oppose uniform implementation of these characteristics and principles as instructed by the nation’s Constitution. Therefore, those in opposition, wholeheartedly, misinterpreted the First Amendment in order to reject God and stop the goals of the Constitution from being accomplished. Still, God is not religion, and the First Amendment does not refer to God. Obviously, many desire alternative guidelines and principles to advantage themselves and gain control over America’s governing system and its people. |
