Not enough PC in Canada

The UN’s on the job, accusing Canada of racism. There may be plenty of PC in Canada, but not enough. Some problem areas: immigrants don’t earn as much as natives, compensation has not yet been paid to survivors [?] with respect to a 19th century head tax on Chinese immigrants, and Ottawa still resists giving the UN power to rule on individual racism complaints. The excuse proffered is that “committee rulings on cases brought by individuals from other countries have leaned farther toward suppressing free speech than Canada is ready to tolerate.” However, the rejoinder of Regis de Goutte, a French magistrate on the committee, remained unanswered: Canada’s recent laws limiting expression on the Internet show it is ready to limit free speech.
