Female sharks

The Modern Woman is not always Mom, of course. Maybe there’s some law of compensation at work: turn the state into Mom and women restore the overall balance by becoming lean, mean and ruthless in their personal and professional lives. The author of the piece thinks that a triumph: it’s every man (or woman) for himself, and all hail the victor. On the other hand, the survey on which the article is based may be biased because it included only victors and ignored the social wreckage. Its basic function, like that of the article itself, seems to be to break down ordinary human and moral feelings in favor of a Sadean morality of lust and power. All, of course, in the name of inclusiveness, tolerance and justice.
