The reform of domestic life
No safe haven for bigotry: Nannies in Britain to sue for racial bias. When you’re choosing someone to be alone with your kids for hours on end day after day, the burden will be on you to prove you acted in a nondiscriminatory fashion. I wonder whether this will apply to sexual orientation too? Posted by Jim Kalb at October 23, 2002 09:53 AM | Send Comments
Those that can afford domestics are normally to the fore of such “advances”. I believe they are exceptional at racial profiling and have little difficulty disproving their own hidden bias, as have landlords and others. The shift of burden of proof from accuses, to the accused, on the other hand, is justice of the withhunt. It is an abuse of human rights by those, who supposedly hold them, in the greatest reverence.
