Same-sex marriage is aimed at destroying marriage and all sexual restrictions
Do homosexuals really want the right to marry? The Traditional Values Coalition says the answer is no. Instead, the homo-rights activists want same-sex marriage “as a way of destroying the concept of marriage altogether—and of introducing polygamy and polyamory (group sex) as ‘families,’ … with the ultimate goal of abolishing all prohibitions against sex with multiple partners.” Here are some hair-raising quotes from leading homosexualist spokesmen which back up the TVC’s claim:
Michelangelo Signorile, writing in Out! magazine, has stated that homosexuals should, “…fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits and then, once granted, redefine the institution of marriage completely To debunk a myth and radically alter an archaic institution. The most subversive action lesbians and gays can undertake-and one that would perhaps benefit all of society-is to transform the notion of ‘family’ altogether.” (Out! magazine, Dec./Jan., 1994) Posted by Lawrence Auster at February 09, 2004 07:55 PM | Send Comments
(1) At war against society, (2) at war against civilization, (3) at war against God. Society may lose; civilization may surrender. That leaves #3. Posted by: Joel LeFevre on February 9, 2004 9:47 PMSteve Sailer has written a column about gay “marriage”: http://www.nationalreview.com/weekend/culture/culture-sailer070100.shtml I find the idea that gay men are more interested in having fabulous weddings than in actual being married an interesting point. Posted by: Michael Jose on February 9, 2004 11:33 PMThis might be worth reading … as soon as I get over the shock of seeing a Steve Sailer article published at NRO. Posted by: Joel LeFevre on February 9, 2004 11:40 PMMr. LeFevre, the article is somewhat old. It was “published” on the July 1-2 weekend of 2000. Maybe NRO had different management at that time? Posted by: Joshua on February 9, 2004 11:59 PMLike all liberalism and leftism, the homosexualist movement wraps its true agenda - revealed by the TVC - in the cloak of “equality” and ridding society of “opression.” Mr. Le Fevre describes them well. I do hope that the one mentioned in option No. 3 will reveal himself and intervene soon, as things appear quite grim down here. At least we do have the comfort of knowing that He is more than able to defeat these folks - to send them fleeing like chaff before the wind. Posted by: Carl on February 10, 2004 12:58 AMIn response to Carl, God has revealed Himself and intervened in human affairs. He gave His Son, and gave us the Bible to read to know His will. Now it is time for us to do something about it. Posted by: Clark Coleman on February 10, 2004 10:43 AMBe not deceived; God is not mocked! What He hath ordained, none can put asunder! We shall all give account of our actions. His eyes are at every place, beholding the good and the evil. The courts may give assent to the wrong but God only maintains the right! Fret not of those whose hearts are ever bent on evil for they shall perish as the grass and shall be no more. We can flee even as Sodom burns. The truth is safe and abideth forever! Woe to them who change the truth of God into a lie! Let them flounder in their evil ways but desist from joining them. Cry aloud in the streets for the wrath to come! Pervision lifts its head but is soon cut down. They who do that which is unnatural to the body will suffer the fires of judgment. Be not deceived; God is not mocked! Posted by: Edwin Vogt on February 10, 2004 10:38 PMThe upper letter has erroneously mispelled the word’perversion’. I have it rendered ‘pervision’. Posted by: Edwin Vogt on February 10, 2004 10:43 PM“America’s First Gay Marriage” — today — is the topic of this WND article: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=37094 “With the prodding of Mayor Gavin Newsom, San Francisco officials defied state law today by officiating at the marriage of two lesbians and vowing to issue a license to any homosexual couple that applies… . “But just before noon today, City Assessor Mabel Teng presided over a closed-door civil ceremony at City Hall for longtime lesbian activists Phyllis Lyon, 79, and Del Martin, 83, mayor’s spokesman Peter Ragone said … “Ragone said officials now will issue a marriage license to any homosexual couple applying for one.” We’re moving closer to the end. Posted by: Joel LeFevre on February 12, 2004 7:04 PMThis is the end; the light is gone from reason.Think of Sodom and its liberality in sensual living. There were no restraints. All was governed by self-interest. Any deviation from the consent of the elders would have been severely punished. We see even now in America the gagging of free speech in the defense of tolerance to those who practice deviant life styles. This is only the beginning. Gradual emancipation of all moral restrictions will become the order of the day. Whom shall I release unto you, cried Pilate? And the mob replied, Barabbas! The world chooses light over darkness! Posted by: Edwin Vogt on February 12, 2004 11:15 PMIt must be obvious to the general reader that a mistake was made on the concluding line of the above comments:It should have been typed, “the world chooses darkness over light”.
