Why we’re still under the curse of Clintonism

Since Clinton is back in the national consciousness lately, and since he’s only able to be back in the national conciousnessness because the nation declined to purge him from its conciousness when it had a chance to do so in 1998 and 1999, and since another chance to purge him was lost when the Republican presidential candidate in 2000 avoided making the Clinton era violations of the public trust an issue in the election, with the result that the Republican’s victory did not signal the nation’s rejection of Clintonism, here is an article written by me in August 2000 in which I laid out one of my two main reasons (the other one being his stand on the national question) for not supporting the Republican candidate that year.
