Still no Iraq victory in sight, or even in thought

And read this disturbing column by Jim Hoagland backing up a view I’ve been repeating for the past year, a view that the handover of political responsibility to an Iraqi government has given me no reason to change: the U.S. is managing the Iraqi insurgency, not seeking to defeat it.
