Report makes it official: failure to stop 9/11 attack had nothing to do with liberalism …
… nothing to do with open borders, nothing to do with our eagerness to be inclusive of everyone in the world, nothing to do with our quasi-religious commandment never to discriminate against or judge anyone. From the Washington Post’s story on the 9/11 Commission report:
Even after bin Laden called on Muslims everywhere to kill Americans wherever they found them—and then pulled off coordinated attacks on U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania—the U.S. response was feckless, because of bureaucratic squabbling, poor communications, misdirected resources and “failures of imagination.”(Also, George Neumayer at the American Spectator makes points similar to mine.)
