Geraghty’s strategy for making CBS accountable

As Jim Geraghty makes clear at the Kerry Spot today, Dan Rather and his producers and executives are weathering the storm and are going to get away with it, in the absence of pressure from within their own industry, namely from the CBS affiliates, from fellow CBS personnel, and from other networks. Geraghty suggests that direct attacks on Rather won’t accomplish anything more at this point and that people should complain to those three groups, who when they feel the heat will re-direct it at the CBS honchos.
