Wash Post still backs war

The Washington Post continues to back Bush’s basic decision to go to war, even given what is now accepted as known about the absence of WMD stockpiles in Iraq in 2003. The reasons the Post gives are the same reasons Bush has given: had the sanctions ended, Iraq would very quickly have re-started its weapons programs, and there would have been nobody around to gainsay it. Based on this editorial, I repeat my prediction that the Post will not endorse Kerry for president.
