Exposing the open-borders arguments
The first part of my 1997 pamphlet, Huddled Clichés, Exposing the Fraudulent Arguments That Have Opened America’s Borders to the World, has been adapted as an article and published today at FrontPage magazine. I don’t think anyone will find that the material in this article is less relevant today than when it was first published. Posted by Lawrence Auster at October 15, 2004 08:03 AM | Send Comments
Officials and their professoriate challenge civilization thus: prove to us why your people should not be decolonized. They must pose the question under this inversion of the burden of proof, since they have no reasonable argument as to why they should be granted power to do such damage. They would have to show how becoming more like the third world is an improvement, but they can’t. Posted by: John S Bolton on October 25, 2004 2:10 AM |
