Kerry ahead in advance voting in Iowa
This could be a sleeper for Kerry—advance voting. ABC reports, via Powerline, that 27 percent of Iowans have already voted, with Kerry ahead in that vote by 52 to 41. People yet to vote are split 50-50. Yet according to Mason Dixon, as we discussed earlier, Bush is ahead in Iowa by five points. If Kerry wins Iowa, that could be the state he needs, in addition to the statistically tied states that he must also carry, to carry the election.
However, the Kerry Spot offers a different perspective on the Iowa numbers. Comments
This isn’t good news for Bush, but KerrySpot at NRO points out that the sample size is ridicously small. Also, Dems tend to vote early in Iowa. http://www.nationalreview.com/kerry/kerryspot.asp Posted by: Steve Jackson on October 31, 2004 5:36 PM |
