The missing explosives—yet another liberal media charge exposed as a lie
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Muhammad El Baradei, said yesterday that his organization has no independent information on the status or history of the missing munitions that convulsed U.S. politics last week. He said that the sole source for the story was a letter sent to the agency from an Iraqi official. That letter was leaked to the New York Times, and the Times ran with it, without confirming that there was any basis for the story beyond the single letter. They should change the slogan of that paper to: All the news that’s fit to throw in the garbage. Posted by Lawrence Auster at November 02, 2004 01:06 PM | Send Comments
I’ve always liked “All the news that’s printed to fit”……… Posted by: SavoirFaire on November 2, 2004 4:32 PM |
