VFR readership up!
This is not normally something I pay much attention to, but the first five days of November have seen the highest readership of VFR ever—an average of over 2,400 visits per day, with over 3,000 visits on November 3. For a modest site like this, which makes no particular attempt to publicize itself and is not hooked into the blogger community, that doesn’t seem too bad. VFR’s usage statistics, including some nice charts, can be seen at Webalizer. You can even click on a given month and get the stats for each day in that month. And why not? Mr. Auster, you’ve got a terrific blog going…my favorite on the web. Keep up the good work. I can’t express what a relief it is to carry on discussions with truly thoughtful and intelligent people. Maybe this, too, is a hopeful sign. See, Thordaddy, not all is gloom and doom around here!
