Leo on the liberal mindset

While some observers see liberals moving back in the direction of sanity, as I mentioned last week, others see just the opposite occurring. John Leo catalogs some of the typical attitudes of the liberal denizens of Manhattan with whom he socializes, and paints a picture of people more out of touch with reality than ever before.

As for the social circles Leo moves in, let’s just be thankful that he doesn’t tell us, as self-described “Metropolitan conservative” John Derbyshire told us a while ago, that he prefers the company of Manhattan liberals to that of conservatives from other parts of the country.
