Comments open for today—not
I have no spam filtering software set up, but just for today, I’ve opened the last three entries for comments in case anyone wants to share his opinions about the inauguration.
Scratch that. The moment I un-deactivated the comments, comment spam began coming in, so I de-activated the comments again. I have a feeling that even after I re-install the comment spam filter software, that still won’t be sufficient to stop lots of comment spam from getting in. The only alternative this leaves is requiring registration, which changes the whole feel of a blog. Email entry |
