More on Ashley Smith

The discussion at Lucianne.com about Ashley Smith is worth reading. I didn’t see her on tv, I only read her interview, but it is truly a remarkable story. The most exceptional thing Smith did was to return with Nichols to her apartment when she could have escaped. She somehow realized that she had established a connection with him and was able to calm him and maybe get him to turn himself in, whereas if she had simply escaped from him, he would have gone on the run again and probably killed more people. She risked her own life to save others.
