The Pope’s call for Western cultural suicide

Speaking of immigration, I was just reminded of an excellent article Jim Kalb wrote in 2002 about the Pope’s radical views on immigration. While the Pope has made various crackpot remarks over the years about immigration, the statement discussed in this article is perhaps his most extreme, demanding the unqualified openness of the receiving nations to all immigrants, regardless of their numbers and their cultural diversity, and thus adding up to a recipe for the elimination of every culture suicidal enough to heed the Pope’s call. The article, after being posted at VFR, was published at FrontPage Magazine.
