Betraying with a kiss
I said to some correspondents that John Paul II was the leading promoter of the complete acceptance of Islam. I was asked for evidence of this. So I hunted around the old Weberoo a bit, and came upon:
On May 14, 1999, at the Vatican, JPII kissed the Koran when it was presented to him by visiting Moslem leaders from Iraq. You know, the book that says, “When you find the infidels, strike off their heads,” the book that says that if a Moslem becomes a Christian, he must instantly die. Here, here, and here are discussions of this I found at Catholic websites. Out of the first hundred of so google search results I brought up, I did not see any references to this story at any mainstream website. Email entry |
