Pope said Christianity is facing “gravest threat in its history.” And what did he do about that threat?
This note from a reader brings home why it’s so important to take a principled stand against the tide of adulation for John Paul II and his legacy. The fact is that a major part of his legacy is surrender to Islam.
As part of your discussion of JPII, the Newark Star-Ledger had on its front page part of his last will and testament. I found it interesting that they chose to quote a segment that dealt with the grave threat to Christians around the world today. The gravest since the early days of Christianity. Well then, who is the threat from? If the threat is so grave, why did he not name names and speak out forcefully to defend his children? Why did he kiss the Koran? Why is no one asking these questions? Posted by Lawrence Auster at April 09, 2005 10:14 AM | Send Email entry |
