Naval Academy Commandant orders midshipmen to pick leaders according to diversity
This e-mail from a midshipman at the Naval Academy, quoting an e-mail from the Academy’s Commandant, was posted at Steve Sailer’s website, without link or citation. The Commandant’s e-mail is a naked expression of the Bollingerized, O’Connorized, Bushized, Orwellianized social order in which we now live. In the spirit of Grutter v. Bollinger (see my long article on Grutter posted here last year), it makes racial proportionality an all-encompassing mandate that must inform, in principle, all public life.
Here at the Naval Academy the senior midshipmen (first class) recently made their picks for next year’s leadership (from the class of 2006). This list was rejected by the senior officer leadership. I mention this only to set up the background for the email from the Commandant we got today explaining the situation: Posted by Lawrence Auster at April 10, 2005 12:35 AM | Send Email entry |
