Tancredo vs. Cannon

Good versus evil! Rep. Tom Tancredo, leader of the House Immigration Reform Caucus and my write-in candidate for president in 2004, and Rep. Chris Cannon, one of the most vociferous supporters of President Bush’s open borders’ proposals, clashed at a Washington conference yesterday, with Cannon openly hinting that Tancredo is a racist and xenophobe and saying that Tancredo doesn’t belong in the GOP. The Rocky Mountain News, normally a very dull, liberal paper, or at least it was when I used to read it years ago, has the exciting blow-by-blow.
