Two types of Judaism today
Eugene Girin writes:
If you want to see a big difference in politics go to a Reform “synagogue” (I’m referring to the modern-day ones) and compare that with a Chassidic shul. I remember the Reform “rabbi” (it was a she) started preaching about loving all nations and praising her non-Jewish friend for volunteering in Mexico, while the Chassidic rabbi filled our cups with vodka (this was on Simchat Torah, a major holiday) and said: “Let’s remember that G-d rules the world, not the United Nations!” Posted by Lawrence Auster at May 11, 2005 11:48 PM | Send Email entry |
