Moderate Muslims show their strength

As I have demonstrated from Daniel Pipes’s own writings, the moderate Islam that he claims is the solution to the problem of radical Islam doesn’t actually exist and never has existed. It is only a hope, in the same manner that, say, universal peace or the elimination of all human diseases is a hope. On May 14, a moderate, pro-democracy Muslim organization called Free Muslims Against Terrorism held a much publicized rally in the nation’s capital. According to Jeff Jacoby, only 50 people turned up. When I did a search at Google, I only found stories announcing the demonstration in advance, but no stories on the demonstration after it had happened. Maybe no one wanted to draw attention to how poor the turnout had been.
