Stars of homosexual tv show to throw first pitch at Red Socks game

Tossing the first pitch at Boston’s Fenway Park this Sunday will be three stars of the tv program, “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” The Red Sox are doing this in honor of Gay Pride Week. In response to parents who complained about having to explain the word “queer” to their children at a Sunday baseball game,

State Sen. Jarrett Barrios, an openly gay lawmaker who recently married his longtime partner, said people upset with the appearances need to “just get over it.”

The issue is very clear. Either homosexuality will continue to become more and more a publicly affirmed good in our society, with everything that that implies, or public expressions of homosexuality will be prohibited, as was once the case. There is no middle ground.
