Let’s carefully consider every anti-terror option, except for the only one that can work
Writing at NRO’s The Corner, John Derbyshire approvingly quotes a reader who evaluates four possible responses to anti-Western terrorism from the point of view of whether each response allows terrorism to succeed or not. The viable options that remain, after the non-viable ones have been eliminated, allow terrorism to succeed. A grim prognosis. Yet none of the four options that Derbyshire and his reader have considered includes the most obvious approach of all: deportation and exclusion of Moslems from the West. And Derbyshire is supposedly a more traditional and racial-realist type of conservative, as compared with the neocons who form the majority of his NRO co-mates.
