Bush supporter calls for permanent occupation of Iraq

J. Peter Mulhern proclaims forthrightly that we must keep our forces in Iraq forever, since, if we pulled out at any point, that would lead to defeat. This is the first time I’m aware of that a Bush supporter has openly stated the logic that I, as a Bush critic, have stated repeatedly since 2003.
