Is Iran’s president nuts?
One kind of stereotypical madman doesn’t blink. But what about a person who imagines that other people aren’t blinking when they look at him? According to a Radio Free Europe story linked at The Corner, the president of Iran, Ahmadinejad (a friend and I shorten his five syllabled name to Johnny), has said that when he was addressing the UN’s General Assembly in September, the delegates were staring at him the whole time without blinking. Johnny is the president of a country of 60 million people, which is rapidly gaining the capability to produce nuclear weapons, which he and other top national leaders keep telling us they intend to use against Israel.
