The grey lady of London on the Australian riot

And here’s the way the Times of London began its report on the Sydney riot:

TENSIONS between young white gangs and youths of mainly Middle Eastern origin erupted on one of Australia’s most popular beaches yesterday in what police condemned as a racially motivated rally driven by a mob mentality.

See? There were “tensions.” Not continuous ethnic harassment by Mideasterners of whites at the beach, so that whites felt they couldn’t go safely there any more, not the brutal beating of three young white lifeguards, and not the continual ignoring of the situation by the police, but “tensions.” Of course, modern life has lots of “tensions,” it’s something we’re supposed to live with, giving us that quintessentially modern experience the liberals want all of us to have, so that we will become like them, the experience of alienation, the experience of not feeling at home in one’s own society, even as we’re simultaneously told to be grateful for the richness of our diversity. But then, lo and behold, the tensons “erupted.” Out of the blue, for no reason, those primitive whites, talking about defending the Aussie way of life, began attacking Middle Easterners. The rest of the story is written in the same manner. Also see the photo the Times selected, showing deranged-looking, thuggish whites confronting a police officer.
