People who hate their adversary more than they love their own
Today I have a blog entry discussing Patrick Buchanan, with his consuming bigotry against Israel and against neoconservatives, and another blog entry discussing the neocon Mark Steyn, whose animus against the European left is such that he thinks it would be better if the Muslims took over Europe. It occurs to me that there is a parallel between the two men and the respective temperaments or ideologies they represent.
Buchanan (as I’ve said before) hates the neocons and Israel more than he loves America. Steyn and the neocons hate the left more than they love European civilization and European man. Email entry |
