Pros and cons of the contain and isolate strategy

The blog entry, “As Muhammad created Islam, will Muhammad destroy Islam?” began with David Wood’s idea that the revelation of Muhammad’s own character would discredit the Islamic faith. It then moved into a discussion of the contain and isolate strategy, which I think is the only sure and achievable way of making ourselves safe from Islam. Several very interesting comments by readers, followed by my replies, have been added to the discussion.
