More on fact-value distinction

A friend sent this comment about the thread on the fact-value distinction, which throws what was said previously into question:

Conservatives do accept fact value distinction. C.S. Lewis says you cannot derive an ought from an is. Oughts come from above ourself, from revelation. Otherwise you get perversities that come from what “is,” for example, homosexuality.
