Riots spreading in Midwest

A reader sent me a link under the subject line, “Midwest riots.” I asked him, “Is that, uh, the Muslim Midwest?” I then loaded the article and discovered a mysterious world of exotic and impenetrable local customs, of staggering cultural diversity, of kaleidoscopic confrontation, of manically heightened sensitivities, of hair-trigger violence … a land where a Cowboys fan who makes a cartoon of Vince Lombardi has committed the ultimate sacrilege.
