Bush: More anti-American than Clinton
We are already familiar with Secretary of State Rice’s disgusting routine of putting down America for its failures to achieve perfect equality, so as to make Muslim backwardness and savagery seem less backward and savage. But now, unbelievable even to me, the same anti-American message has been institutionalized in the august person of Karen Hughes, Assistant Secretary of State for Groveling to Muslims. Her mission? Travel around the Islamic world telling the members of that religion—that religion founded on the sacralized killing and oppression of all non-Muslims—how the U.S. has failed to live up to its Founding principles.
When Bush in his first inaugural address portrayed America as a guilty country consisting of lots of victims needing succour, I said, this is not a conservative, this is a liberal, a leftist. No one understood. I think now they’re starting to understand. Email entry |
