Condi Does Democracy

Just like her boss, the messiah from West Texas, Condoleezza Rice, the messiah’s twin brain, is not content to emit some moronic anti-American slogan once or twice and then be done with it. No, she imperiously repeats it every time she opens her mouth. Thus, concerning the Abdul Rahman case, she told CNN:

Unlike the Taliban, [the current government of Afghanistan] actually has a constitution to which one can appeal. We as Americans know in democracy, as it evolves, there are difficult issues about state and church—or, in this case, state and mosque.

We expect that, given our own history, that we would know Afghans have to go through this evolution. [Italics added.]

Of course, we understand completely. Since we Americans used to execute apostates from Christianity based on unalterable divine commands in the Gospels, we know exactly what those Afghans must go through, how difficult their path to democracy will be, and how rewarding the final victory, although, of course, we ourselves are still a deeply racist and unequal country and are very far from realizing our own ideals.
