The true evil of the open-borders ideology revealed
Stephen T. writes:
As we’re constantly told that immigration is “our lifeblood,” as we hear our President flatly assert that “this country could not survive” without illegal immigrants, I wish that someday you might address this question: What is the model for this dire prophecy? Where exactly IS this oft-mentioned, once-affluent country that now has grass growing in the streets and people living in caves due to a lack of immigrants, legal or illegal?Stephen has made an excellent point. I would add that when we combine the constantly repeated statement, “This country could not survive without illegal [and legal] immigrants,” with the constantly repeated charge that we are racists if we don’t eagerly admit an unending mass flood of legal and illegal Third-World immigrants, we see for the first time the true malignity of the open-borders ideology. It is a radical remaking of America, which tells us that openness to mass immigration is the indispensable basis both of our goodness and of our continued existence—which tells us that America without a constant influx of cultural aliens, America in itself, is an evil nothingness.
So, not only must open borders inevitably result in the practical destruction of America, but the open-borders proponents, in order to convince us to open our borders, must first destroy America in our eyes. Email entry |
