The latest PC twist on race: natural selection makes us believe (falsely) that race matters
Niall Ferguson, a fashionable historian transplanted from Britain to Harvard, echoes as though it were the wisdom of the ages the fashionable liberal truth that racial differences don’t matter, or rather (he adds a little qualification that makes him stand out from the PC crowd) they matter very little, much less than people throughout the ages have imagined they do.
