Jihad and forced conversion over the centuries

Andrew Bostom writing at FrontPage Magazine puts in historical perspective the kidnapping and forced conversion of Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig. For the last 1,400 years Muslims have been waging jihad against non-Muslims, submitting them to slavery, and either compelling them on the spot to convert to Islam or else putting them into circumstances (such as slavery) in which they “were Islamized within a generation, their ethnic and linguistic origins erased.”
