This dhimmied isle
Did you perchance think that the recent massive terrorist arrests in England would help awaken the British to the reality of the threat they face? Get out your Digitalis. According to a poll for the Times of London,
three fifths (62 per cent) agree that “in order to reduce the risk of future terrorist attacks on Britain the Government should change its foreign policy, in particular by distancing itself from America, being more critical of Israel and declaring a timetable for withdrawing from Iraq.”This means that a large majority of the British are still immersed in the liberal myth that our Muslim enemies are reacting against our supposed hostile behavior toward them, so that if we act nicer to them, they will be appeased and will stop committing and supporting terrorism. This white-guilt fantasy is the fatal opposite of the truth. Our enemies are driven not by any bad thing we are doing to them, but by the fact that they are Muslims and we are non-Muslims whom they are commanded by their religion to subdue, convert, or kill, to the extent that they have the opportunity to do so. Therefore the more we “reach out” to them, the weaker we appear in their eyes, and the greater their contempt for us and their conviction that we are ripe for destruction at their hands.
Look at it this way: Was it British sternness to Muslims over the last 20 years that has led to the spectacular growth of jihad in Britain, or British accommodation to Muslims?
