Taranto’s silence

James Taranto has been apprised of the truth concerning Ralph Peters’s insane article attacking Islam critics as genocidal anti-Muslim bigots, which Taranto endorsed last Friday. Taranto has also been made aware that both he and Peters have said critical things about Islam that, by Peters’s own lunatic standards, mean that Taranto and Peters are themselves genocidal anti-Muslim bigots. Since Taranto has had four days this week in which to retract the endorsement, and has not done so, we can conclude that he is as despicable as Peters.

Meanwhile, the Norwgegian blogger Fjordman has a long article on America’s continuing appeasement of Islam, as most recently shown in Mahdi Bush’s beyond-disgraceful personal decision to let the former president of the radical Islamic Republic of Iran travel and speak in America, even in the midst of a supposed American “war” for “complete victory” over radical Islam. (There has never been such a liar as Bush on matters of such consequence, ever. Can anyone gainsay that?) Fjordman also discusses the campaign by people like Peters, Taranto, and the idiot libertarian Cathy Young against “Islamophobes.”

A respectful request to Fjordman: your articles are too long and rambling. Less is more.

Within five minutes of this entry being posted, I got an e-mail from Fjordman:

Hello. I have heard others say the same thing, too. I will try to shorten them from now on :-)
