Questionable allies

Christopher Hitchens starts off an article at Opinion Journal by criticizing John Kerry and the Democrats for their anti-military attitudes, and he ends the article by urging, as part of the solution to this problem, the acceptance of open homosexuality in the U.S. military. Isn’t it great for conservatives to have a leftist ally like Hitchens?
