MCRI passes by landslide

The Michigan Civil Rights Initiative, intended to overturn the effects of the horrible Grutter decision, at least as far as Michigan is concerned, has been passed by a huge 58 to 42 percent margin. This is the best news of the night—almost the only good news of the night. Warm congratulations to Ward Connerly and to everyone who worked with him for this fine achievement.

Those stalwart Republican candidates for Governor and Senator, Dick DeVos and Michael Bouchard, each came out in opposition to the MCRI. Bouchard lost by 57-41 and DeVos by 56-42
