Prager looks out on a darkening world
Dennis Prager is worried about the seemingly innumerable troubles facing mankind, of which he provides a tour d’horizon. Africa is worse off than ever, China’s power is expanding and is being used immorally, the Islamic world is a toxic dump threatening everyone, the Europeans are lost, the liberal half of America strive to be like the Europeans, and the only good guys, the only ones who could possibly save this mess, are the conservative half of America. He concludes on a note that is a refreshing change from the dogmatically upbeat mainstream conservative cant of recent decades: “You can’t win if you are naively optimistic.” Posted by Lawrence Auster at December 20, 2006 01:14 AM | Send Email entry |
