Quasi-dhimmitude rule imposed at British university
According to a report in the Jerusalem Post, the student union of the University of Leeds has passed a resolution that the Union shall ignore complaints from the university’s Jewish Society about the anti-Israel campaign being waged by the university’s Palestinian society. Under sharia law, it is a violation of dhimmi status for a dhimmi to insult Islam and the Prophet. What we see at the University of Leeds is a contemporary variation on that rule, in which a Jewish student organization cannot complain about a Muslim student organization’s participation in the jihad against Israel. Jihad is allowed. Opposing the jihad is not allowed.
