Iran and Britain
Paul Henri writes:
It is hard to fathom why the Brits have not reacted to Iran’s piracy as Margaret Thatcher would have reacted. Cannot they ask for our help to send two Nimitz class carriers to support their carriers? In fact, I thought I heard we have two carriers off the shore of Iran right now. The release of the hostages should not be a variable in any equation designed to stop future carnage. The Brits must attack Iran. Iran has done this to the Brits before. The Brits must attack, or they will be continually harassed and held in contempt by Muslim countries. The Brits helped us in Afghanistan and Iraq; therefore, no one can criticize our help for the Brits in dealing with Iran. Indeed, Iran serendipitously has handed the U.S. the provocation needed to unleash our superweapons against Iran and its nuclear development sites; hopefully, the Brits will ask us. But W is probably too stupid to see the opportunity and not only offer but encourage our help. Nuts like Muslim ideologues were bound to go too far; we need only take this opportunity and run with it. Posted by Lawrence Auster at March 24, 2007 07:15 PM | Send Email entry |
