Guess what institutions are getting your tax dollars to protect them from terrorism
The Department of Homeland Security has initiated a $24 million program by which money grants are given to 501(c)(3) organizations that may be terror targets to help them improve their security. The U.S. government, of course, does not discriminate. The U.S. government does not practice racial or religious profiling. The U.S. government welcomes the votaries of the religious of peace in our country. At this point you can guess what’s coming next. WorldNetDaily reports (and they have a link to CAIR backing up the story):
In a recent “Action Alert” posted on its website, CAIR encouraged its Muslim members to take advantage of $24 million in federal funds DHS has made available—specifically, DHS says, for nonprofit organizations “deemed high-risk for a potential international terrorist attack.”According to WND, a mosque in Maryland has already received a $15,000 grant to beef up its security against terrorists. However, maybe this is not as crazy as it seems. Maybe the granting of federal dollars to Muslim mosques to help protect them from international terrorism (virtually all of which is committed by Muslims) is not just liberal equality operating in its relentlessly logical yet absurd fashion. Maybe this is part of a legitimate concern. After all, there is a move to start granting U.S. asylum to thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of the four million Iraqis who have fled their homes because of the murderous chaos the U.S. released in their country by destroying their former despotic government and replacing it with “freedom.” As the New York Times Magazine reported recently, Iraqi Shi’ite and Iraqi Sunni refugees often bring their mutual hates to their respective lands of refuge. Thus Shi’ite mosques in the U.S. may soon need to be protected from Sunni terrorists, and Sunni mosques may soon need to be protected from Shi’ite terrorists. Isn’t it great to know that DHS head Michael “Pencil-neck” Chertoff is on the job, thinking of every possible angle to protect the American people, including the followers of the religion of peace, from terrorism? And the fact that he had the energy and foresight to think up this plan even while he has been so busy over the last few months helping design an unprecedentedly complicated and visionary law to stop illegal immigration by rewarding 20 million illegal aliens with lifetime legal status shows what an extraordinarily talented and visionary leader Chertoff really is. Also, let’s not forget his tough-minded and brilliantly successful performance as majority counsel for the Whitewater committee in the 1990s investigating the Clintons’ financial dealings. Such talent should not be hid under a bushel. Since there is such profound discontent among Republicans about the current crop of presidential candidates, and since GOP voters’ three top concerns are defending America from terrorism, stopping illegal immigration, and keeping Hillary Clinton out of the White House, I propose a Draft Chertoff for President movement.
Ken Hechtman writes:
Don’t laugh. This is already happening in Dearborn. Mosques are being vandalized and even firebombed by other Muslims. It started just after the Saddam Hussein execution when the Sunnis took exception to the Shias’ big street celebration and the Shias took exception to the Sunnis’ protest and mourning.
