Two illusory wars

From a VFR piece posted last February:

Unfortunately, even as the Bush team are lost in their illusion that they are fighting a war against Islamic extremism, anti-Bush conservatives are caught in the illusion that they are fighting a war against the forces that prevent us from fighting a war against Islamic extremism.
