If culture is an unavoidable concern, so is race
Here, from June 2005, is a concise explanation of a constant theme at VFR: why, even if culture-conscious immigration restrictionists don’t care about ethnicity and race at all, it will nevertheless be impossible for them to avoid the question of ethnicity and race, and they need to accept this fact. My conclusion:
[I]f it is legitimate to want to preserve our own culture, it is legitimate to want to preserve a country in which people like ourselves continue to be the majority, culture-defining population. The point is particularly relevant now in the aftermath of the defeat of the Bush-Kennedy immigration bill, when various mainstream conservatives have been saying for the first time in their lives that culture matters with regard to immigration policy.
