The culture of lies

Fjordman writes at Brussels Journal about the “culture of lies” that is modern Europe, with the state the main source and enforcer of the lies. He has a good quote from Theodore Dalrymple on the real purpose of requiring people to tell lies: it is not to make them believe something that is not true: it is to break down their character and self-respect so that they will be easy to rule.
