Sarkozy on Turkey
Nicholas Sarkozy said he opposed Turkish membership in the EU. Now he says he strongly supports it. Reported at Galliawatch which has been closely following the moves to the left by this French leader many still call a “conservative.”
Maybe, like the pope, who underwent a similar switch on Turkey, Sarkozy (or his spokesmen) will say he doesn’t really mean it. Doesn’t mean what he’s saying now? Or doesn’t mean what he said before? Eh, who knows? Email entry |
